  1. Election Day TODAY! From years past experience, it's a wonderful time to be in the Osage and a better party you won't find on the planet! Fry Bread. Meat Pies. Lemonade. Fried Chicken. Election tents. Family and friends to visit with and see again. Candidates collected there on Campus to talk with. What a time is always is... Not to miss! We'll be here on station so let us know how it's going. We'll report the Minerals election results as soon as we possibly can.

    2. You may think you know who that candidate Jackie Jones is, but I doubt it since she makes a big effort to hide her evil unethical ways and intentions - most of her family will most likely be voting her way but most people know better not to I hope and pray. However, those of you that don't know - she works up at the Osage Nation in constituent services. She hires nonosages and has no education to run a department. She was given her job by her uncle Chief Jim Gray and got an immediate promotion of her position when her uncle Ex-chief Redeagle got into office. Redeagle and his sidekick Diedre Bigheart (who happens to be best friends with Jackie's Mom and an alley of Jackie herself before the given promotion). She
was initially hired to assist the chief's executive secretary to help answer phone's all day. That was and is all she is qualified to do. But remember, Redeagle had
hired some of his niece's in positions they couldn't possible qualify for on their own
merit. Anyway, the big closeted problem with this lady is that she creates gossip
and conflict within the nation every chance she gets. She looks down on Osages if they cannot serve her purpose and is an overall unnice person. In order for a person to be able to like other people they need to start out liking themselves. In her
position this type of behavioral issue can well become and has been a roadblock
for may Osage people that cross this lady's path. Her attitude alone would turn
away the best of her intentions to say the least. She even fired an osage just to hire her nonosage sisterinlaw. She can control her sisterinlaw and that is what she hungers for - control. And not in a good way.

Voting for Jackie Jones would be like handing the keys back to that snake Deidre Bigheart and that whole crew. It wouldn't be morally right.

We have two members of the Osage Nation Congress retained; Alice Buffalohead and Kugee Supernaw, and four new Congressional members; Ron Shaw, Angela Pratt, Otto Hamilton, and James Norris. Congratulations to all of the winners! We extend our gratitude to all who ran in this election who did not win. You stood up and put yourselves forward in the effort to serve the Osage people and we thank and greatly admire all of you for having done so.

Thoroughly enjoyed the give and take in the political relish of theses races. Your talented writers, what can one say, but another time.

    4. I went to Red Rock today, they said it will take 6 wks. to get the accounts ready to make out checks to be sent to all the people. Then, after that, it will take up to 3 mos. to get everyone paid. In all, they said within 90 days you should have a check. I got to see the missing years on my account, they had no figures that I ever got a payment, also there were years of part totals that not all 4 pymts were posted. This is OSTs fault for not keeping records. I figure about 5 to $7000 is missing just in my account. But I'd have to prove I got that money. Sooo, I'll spend some time at my bank, looking for old deposit slips and records for proof the next six weeks. The people were nice, and seen the problems with the OST!!!...Hope this helps some of you. Also the interest goes back into the big pot, not to us.

And then had to call the Osage County Clerks office for final account on our past Grandmothers estate to identify the Estate as well and to me this is so News Worthy. Who's accountable.? 7. Thank you Osageblogger, curious as to what you think about ONCA 13-19 and ONCA 13-22. How is it that the Nation only obligate to the Osage Headriight owners yet we are all Osage. Is this not discrimination? The M.E. was left to us inherited does not make the Headright owner any more Osage or less than the next Osage next to me. Is the Membership going to change again? So, what we turn a blind eye on our fellow brother and sisters?

    ReplyDelete
  8. While everyone has been busy with this election there has been changes to the federal laws that will affect the Osage head right holder tremendously. We no longer have our own CFR regulations that pertain to our uniqueness. We are categorized as one of those tribes that did not pay for their lands and those that are soon to be unrecognized. We used to have a whole sec. just for us. 25 CFR SEC. 117 AND 17 FOR Actions on Will of Osage Indians. So looks like it is going to happen just really soon. The Osage 1906 allotment Act is now the Osage Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma surplus land Act of June 28th, 1906. This used to be the Osage Allotment Act of June 26th, 1906. Every act has been changed. The 1912 act which governed probate has been messed with so much you can't even recognize it. The superintendent now can decide how things will be inherited by a family settlement and if a non compos mentos writes a Will and they are allowing a senile person to write one then it does not have to be approved by the state district court but one that is made by any Osage has to be approved by the state district court first which means there isn't even any since in writing a Will. The BIA and State are going to take it away from any heirs you have by the ability to sell it and take it out of restriction at any time and give anybody their competency papers and the superintendents final decision is final. So that is what your congressmen and chiefs have done for the last 3 administrations. The thing is we could possibly get these things voided because there was suppose to be a comment period and a review period of which they did not inform anybody and allow us to comment on it so they just took all of your rights away folks.

    1. Well, I'm concerned and confused for two reasons. If a non-Osage spouse inherits, what then? In addition, it makes sense to me that the Osage Nation can only have any authority or autonomy over Osage Nation members where the Mineral Estate is involved period as per the Constitution prior to the Amendment. Now, If I understand this correctly the Osage Nation has only the right to protect the headright owners of Osage descent. This appears to me to open it up (ME income rights protection) to more than just Osage Nation members. (?) Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Also, I think it's important to know what the Congressional intent of this amendment is as well.

I think the right to membership amendment has corrected what should have been in the ON Constitution from the very beginning.

      Delete
    2. I may be incorrect, but this is the way I understand it. I am Osage and my spouse is white. Before my death I can set up the paper work so that when I die my spouse can have the use of my headright until their death. Upon the spouse d3eath then the headright goes to our children who are Osage. The surviving spouse would never own the headright but only have use of it. This has to be set up ahead of time and you could contact the Osage Nation or the BIA to see how to do this. In either case, I believe yo have to declare how you want your headright handled?

      Delete
    3. Unless it changes but you are correct.

      Delete
    4. What my point was and is, is that the Osage Nation can and will protect your headright income interest but not that of your wife if she is not of Osage descent. This is now clarified by this new amendment to the Constitution. I'm not sure what this means legally or what effect it will actually have as the BIA is the one who distributes the Headright payments.

    5. This action needs to be furthered looked at as I do see some implications or better word I'm seeing the ramifications Osageblogger.

    7. No this is a Federal matter under the 1906 Allotment Act. You can read in the Osage News (hard copy) Volume 10, Issue 5 - May 2014; the amendments verbatim in the Sample Ballot on page 16 and the next page gives you an explanation of each of the amendments and what they are supposed to mean.

  9. Julie and I want to thank everyone who participated in our Osage Nation election. We just came home after picking up campaign signs in the East, North, and West of the Osage. That's almost 200 miles of main roads. We will cover the South tomorrow. We stopped by the Grayhorse Village where the camps are already up or were being set up. It is a joyful sight. It has been a wonderful experience meeting so many Osages these past 9 months. The trail has been through all our communities here at the Osage and to meetings in California, Texas, Kansas, and many places in Oklahoma. You can see a great similarity among all the Osage people. We definitely are one family. I will serve you all to the best of my ability and with full effort. Our past is what binds us now, our future depends on our commitment to working together in the present.

I also congratulate Chief Justice Meredith Drent, and those who have confirmed her in that position. 1. No matter who you voted for, isn't it a shame that we have to start out with an Assistant Chief that already has a cloud of deception and lack of transparency hanging over his head ! I don't pretend to know all there is to know about the rumors of him "Mis-placing" artifacts he took from the museum but with the museum board and the Osage news not coming forward with information about this, it cast some suspicion over what really happened. Add to that Raymond not coming forward with some sort of explanation it raises the question of Trust. As far as I am concerned this will always overshadow his term in office until this is addressed out in the open. It's a shame we have to start off where we left the JRE situation. NO trust, no honesty and no transparency! If this is an example of how our Asst. Chief is going to handle his affairs and those of the On, I would say Standing Bear has his work cut out to bring trust to the ON government.

    2. Something else is in the wind too. Osage News has a blurb on Facebook about Osage Nation Tax Commission Administrator, Mary Mashunkashey resigning her post. She's the wife of Joe Don Mashunkeshey of the Pawhuska Village scandal -- http://osagenews.org/article/fbi-investigating-former-pawhuska-five-man-board -- and Macy Mashunkashey's mother. I wonder if this is tied in somehow. Does anyone know what is going on?

    4. That's a problem for the Nation the cloud over Red Corn. And Our Chief needs to come out and say he supports him, if not this is a huge cloud over the Nation. And I repeat this needs to be addressed. I hope the Chief wasn't hoping that this question was not on the Horizon. This is Political and let me be clear their are hitters out their amongst us Osage are willing to go to the length to get to the truth! And I say this lightly now. But not to address could have it's adverse affects if you know what I mean?

      Delete
    5. It's not political. What he did has nothing to do with politics. He stole artwork from the OCH Museum while he was a Board member and in a position of extreme trust. This vile behavior reflects on the Osage Nation government and all Osages because he was a member of the Osage Congress at the time. We can't have people in high office in our government with a proven track record of sticky fingers! In any other government setting besides our own, pressure would come to bear and the head of government would seek a no-confidence vote from the legislature and he would be asked to resign or face the consequences. One way or the other, he would be out on his keister just like John Red Eagle. IMO he should be. Anybody on a Board of Directors of a museum who steals artwork from it, is a Bum. Am I right or am I right?

      Delete
    6. It is Political because the Osage Constituency voted for him. It wasn't before but the game changed.

      Delete
    7. He violated the trust through the power of authority is what you are saying?

      Delete
    8. Yes, in so many words. If you are a Board Member of an Art Museum, you are placed in a high position of trust that he apparently violated when he stole the artwork. Maybe he thought it was a good cover for his nefarious activities. The non-Osage community, no doubt, thinks he's scum. They probably think that only the Osages would elect someone who does things like that to be the Asst. Chief. It reflects badly on all of us.

  12. I would like to thank the Osage Mineral Trust Beneficiaries for considering me and for voting for me in the June 2, 2014 Minerals Council election. Although I didn’t make the cut, you have wisely elected a Council that is heavily weighted toward oil field experience and business experience. That is exactly what I was hoping you would do. There will be differences of opinion among them, but that can be a good thing at times. What we need now is to get all the new ideas out there and start chewing on them a little. I expect to see great things coming from this Council over the next 4 years.
As for me, I plan to keep right on doing what I’ve been doing as long as I see a need. I really want to be there to see the good things start happening. If you believe nothing else I have said over the last 3 years, believe this: Osages, you really do need to know. Please take an interest in your inheritance. Learn where it comes from and what it takes to make things work. Less than 25% of the eligible beneficiaries voted in this last election. That’s the sad part. We must teach our children how things work and find a way to get them interested in someday participating in the management of this precious asset they will own a part of.
Again, thank you very much for your support and your vote.

    2. For obvious reasons we do need the change to take effect. The BIA is and are aware of the delays in administration and out on the field. Once every producer is in alignment with said changes no longer can they dismiss or by pass or flare without being compensated for other resources, and with proper installation of new meters and so forth.....will give us accurate reading only then we will bw aware of how much money has gone unaccounted for....I posted that comment only to confirm why we got the settlement in the first place. Did you notice in the article our name was not mentioned? We have 4000 wells long overdue the upgrades, had to happen. Why would anyone gripe about getting a bigger royalty check?

The U.S. Patent Office has canceled six trademarks belonging to the Washington Redskins football team, saying they are offensive to Native Americans.
In a decision released today, the office's Trademark Trial and Appeal Board ruled that the "that these registrations must be canceled because they were disparaging to Native Americans."
The board also said it lacked the authority to prevent the team from continuing to use the trademarks.
The decision came in response to a suit brought by what the board called "five Native Americans."

Did Raymond Red Corn or any of his sons have anything to do with this one like they did with one fat buffalo?

  27. To be more correct, the MC voted to put in place rules to protect MC office employees from being harassed in the office and to insure a non-hostile and safe work environment. They are after all MC employees and should be able to come to work and do their job without fear of being yelled at and harassed. If ANYONE has a complaint they should take it up with the office manager or the MC chairman. Glad to see this put in place, it's only right and should have been done a long time ago!

    1. I do agree with you. Established policies are long overdue. I guess this is to keep a particular patern of someones long overdue personality is going to be in check. With the new M.C. coming in they will have a front seat to this behavior. Now documentation can be recorded in a employee file and looks to me 3 violations and your out....well at least in the real world of office politics...we shall see how long this will last. As I've said before the shareholder's are tired of some of the unfortunate unprofessional behavior of some....if u know what I mean.

    2. What is going to be interesting to watch. is there were problems in the 1st MC with this person and one of our new elected MC members was on the 1st MC. So this behavior will come as no surprise. IMO the violation threshold has already been surpassed. No employee or anyone else for that matter should have to be subjected to such harassment and hostility without due course of the legal system. If this were to go on in a no-Indian work place, Federal laws would come into place and they may still?

To osageblooger...The poster on June 19 at 10:59 AM referenced a web site "journalrecord.com" etc, etc, etc. Why cant these references to web sites be put on the blog in such a way that we can simply click on them and bring them up rather than having to write the entire thing down and then type it in somewhere else? Other forums are able do it. That's a lot of rigamarole to go thru when it could be made much simpler. I would venture to say, the way it is discourages people from following through to see what the information is.

We all believe in preserving the land....but this falls back on the producers right it's not like they are new to regulations just not following the rules because of the laxed environment at the Helm, The BIA. I'm sure what ever was lost in translation will be defined by the newly written CFR'S and there will be no more excuses, well I won't hold my breath on the last part...Everyone should now understand that compliance is long overdue.

This is all so confusing not being able to directly click on a suggested site to read. Surely this would be a worth while improvement to the blog site.

  30. Glad to see Ray McClain is back to posting.....in my opinion these rules for the Staff should have been established years ago. Boone can now rest in peace proper protocol is established and will have to adhere or face removal, now that documentation will be noted. But failure to comply I'm not hereing the consequnce of said behavior? Policy and procedure and consequnce should be better defined, just my opinion. But this is a start in the right direction. Hostility makes it hard to want to work in that type of office environment....that being said, I'm thankful that production is up and though I'm perplexed, if a landowner is holding up production can they be held liable for the delay and cover our costs of administration fees and etc...? It is so obvious, that M.E. has the right of way....they knew way ahead of time that we could drill on or near the property when they purchased their land and signed the dotted line...really...With a new gas tax on the horizon sure to raise the price of gasoline I do see the price per gallon dropping but only marginally. Gasoline was predicted last year to rise to $5.00 gallon. And we are almost there. The new norm I suspect or speculate. Go to Osages-you-need-to-know.com. Another great post by Ray Ray...thank you.

  31. KING: Osage Minerals Councilwoman Cynthia Boone has hired an attorney to fight "harassment" from fellow council members. A recent resolution passed by the Second OMC reads that "Boone be banned from the office area except when absolutely necessary to attend duly called Council and Committee meetings and collecting official communications from Council mailbox; and that she cease all direct contact with office staff, instead directing all legitimate requests through the Council Chairman and or office manager." Boone was the only woman on the Second OMC and is the only council member to be elected for three consecutive terms. Osage News story to follow.

    13. I believe Andrew and Galen have done an excellent job of putting in place regulations to control harassment in the work place without bringing out in the open what most of us knew already concerning what has been going on. I'm sure most of us have been at a point sometimes in our life where it is better to take our medicine and keep our mouth shut rather than expose ourselves to more embarrassment. This may be that time for Ms. Boone. IF...IF..this were to go to trial there is plenty of documentation to justify why these regulations were put in place and the documentation can go back for years and may expose Ms. Boone to Federal charges of work place harassment and expose her unstable professional behavior for all to hear about. She might best might want to lay low, follow the regulations and get on with her life ?

    14. Name names. Who are we talking about here?

      Delete
    15. Well, they are talking about this non sense from the first M.C.to now the current M.C. so, 12 it is and obviously the M.C. and or? has been keeping records of this behavior against the staff. Evidence speaks louder than words. Mark my words the staff who have left because of the harassment, chronicled the dates I'm sure, personally, this happened to I, as well. Staff also witnessed. Long and endure but had to be logged. New Management came in. But with that being said, in the long run I came out not the victim. Man I had never seen such bad form in my entire career and boy did I learn what work ethics meant lesson learned from a very bad person on how not to be. In the office their is what is call standard protocol, if you are not compliant then you are in subordinate and qualifies you for termination. This protects you and your employees. Change had to come and as a Shareholder this cancer of behavior is not a conducive environment we want for our M.E or for that matter the M.C.

Ethics.....what people do on their own time is there own business as long as performance related problems at work such as habitual tardiness , and so forth...this is the only reason why their should be random testing...we cannot perpetuate a hostile work environment. We should not be here having this discussion if the standard was set in the first place....

When are they going to get the lead out and put up the audio recordings of past meetings for those of us who actually have to work during the week? This web site is no communication tool anymore for Osages like it should be. Who do you have to contact to make things happen around there?

ole PSB aint got the full story out there yet. Councilman Andrew Yates called the Tribal police on Cynthia because she had come into the office to conduct Minerals Business for the Shareholders and that dumb yokel called the Tribal Police. The policeman who arrived told Yates the Tribal Police can't be used for enforcement of office policy and procedures set by Mineral Council resolutions and to get a Federal Court order which they can't because they are such wimps and bullies. That PSB you people are believing is in league with these reckless macho MC men who are backing a jailbird who dont show up to court and tells lies to the court. Perjury is a serious charge. Get smart people and at least give the hounded Council member the benefit of the doubt.

    5. It listed Cynthia as the aggressor in the unfounded and frivolous charge brought by Yates for which, among other things, he along with the others involved are being sued. The police officer set Yates' cap back on straight and left. All documented! Cynthia and her attorney need to take a big bite out of the cash in the saddlebags of Sonny Abbott who is behind most of it anyway.

    6. Frankly, I hope this does go to trial. I can think of nothing more embarrassing, for Cynthia, than for all this to come out in the open.
Additionally, there is rumor that Mia, who works for the police dept is funneling police information to the Osage News. Call Shannon Shaw to check. If that's going on she should be fired!

I personally want her removed and I want the M.C. to set two term limits...as well. I believe in those boys on the hill you just cant make this stuff up...we as Shareholders in the first should know you have a voice and we should make changes when needed. And they need our support....we want Integrity. The solution is simple. If she does not comply with said rules hold her hostile to the M.E. which means she is hostile towards the Shareholders and remove her period...

From what I understand there is a written complaint in the works to the police dept.concerning Mia sending unsolicited police information to the Osage News as well as posting the information on this blog. Guess who?I don't know Dena that well but understand she is a single mother supporting two kids. As long as she is doing her job, and she seems to be, her personal problems should be her business. 16. The word is out there about this incident spreading around and what those bully boys are up to. I posted the information right here and it has nothing to do with Mia. How many charity jobs with the Nation are being given out in that office? They have to be able to do the work and get it done right. One of them in there filing her nails got so far behind on her behind they had to hire two or three more eyeCandies in there to try and catch up and she was sending out paperwork on trusts that was wrong and not getting the job done right for real shareholders. It's a real mess in there and swishing skirts and eyeCandy just dont get it. You are defending people who don't need to even be in there in that office and one of them is back who also got picked up for drugs a year or more ago. If Cynthia rides hard on those smiling like for the camera simps then more power to her. Someone has to get the work done for the shareholders on their trusts and these girlies don't have a clue. Telling shareholders how to do it from the point of view of those who live home and not how the shareholders want their trust prepared!!!!!! Its disgusting in there and not even legal to make those kinds of suggestions to shareholders. All those trust responsibilities should be taken away from that office and prepared out of the BIA Solicitors Office in Tulsa as far away from Pawhuska as you can get to protect the estate interests of those shareholders who want a trust prepared. 60 trusts backlogged and 40 of them stuffed in a drawer! You think you and those bullies can justify this hideous lack of professionalism in that office that those men are tolerating by having those silly skirts in there? The BIA needs to launch an investigation because the Trustee of every one of those trusts is the Secretary of the Interior. Don't think those Councilmen would hop up and down to and fro then. We need this investigation to happen now. Where is the Osage Congress with a Special designated Committee to investigate what is going on in that office right now before the BIA sweeps in to get a good look at the situation and we get in even more trouble than we're in with them already. Mess Mess Mess Mess Mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pull your heads out and find out what is really going on in this office. Most of them should all be fired and charity tranfered to offices where the work doesn't matter so much legally. It's your estate matters shareholders and you need to know the real true story.

    18. Who holds the Mineral Council responsible if they aren't doing estate and Trust business for the Shareholders correctly and in a timely manner? The new Chief? Who do you file a complaint with? Mine must be one of the 60 Trusts mentioned. I hear making changes to an originally filed trust is nearly impossible. I also hear people are dying before these trusts are being completed and they aren't legal if they haven't been finished and finalized. This is terrible. How do you go over the heads of the Mineral Council office? The BIA Solicitor's Office? The old BIA Superintendent would rarely ever return a phone call unless Cynthia called her to get busy and call back. This is so weird. You call the IIM office in Albuquerque and they always seem to have it in order. Is anyone else having the same problems with their trusts in the MC office? We must have a shakeup in there to get things back on track with the Osage Nation Minerals Office if they ever were to begin with. If the Minerals Councilmen are running it then they have to be held responsible for what those women are doing or not doing properly. Like one member of the Osage Congress says, a pile of poo poo behind every single door at the Osage Nation you try to open. I can sure smell it all the way out to California.

      Delete
    22. Took about an hour in person but didn't need to take that long if the Trust prepper had paid any attention to what they were told I wanted to do. I was told that the trust process after my demise takes three months start to finish, avoid probate, the whole thing. Not so. Takes a year with those people at the Osage Agency dragging it out before it goes to Albuquerque where it takes about a month once they get the paperwork. Not like Osages are dropping dead in droves. No excuse for any of it.

      Delete
    23. Yeah I know what you mean and really once a trust is processed for approval can take up to 3 mo's from start to finish....and really if all your documentation is in order it shouldn't even take that long...it took 2 years for the trust to be disbursed from the Estate and of course this was 17 years ago and kid you not the will was well documented, till we threatened to sue....there was absolutely no reason for the wait period. The ball can no longer be dropped. You do this by making sure your staff is well versed. With management in tow...that means running weekly and monthly reports to be sure that your staff is doing what they should be...doing...

      Delete
    24. The Chairman? Yates? He's in league with the Feds to end run those proposed CFRs through as soon as he can. Do you think he cares about your trust or anybody elses? Oh Yeah!!!!! Don't wait for that to happen. I'd be surprised if they even have a single progress report form in that office. You're talking about an Osage run government with offices that rarely if ever pick up the phone and rarely if ever return a phone call. I think I heard sometime back that a story was making it through the grapevine that an actual member of Congress had to send one of those Osage Nation offices an actual fax to get someone to call him back. What Standing Bear needs to realize is that most Osages are either too disgusted to call and receive bad treatment, not get what they need or want done without going to a lot of trouble to get it, or are just simply afraid to try and deal with Osage workers who act like they are too good to have to do anything for anybody. This is rampant in this monster that they created when they went with the Constitution and broke away from any of the Federal Regulations that applied in running Tribal government that may have applied before the change took place. Standing Bear and the rest of that Congress have been paying these people top dollar with raises and bonuses year after year before and after Merit went into effect, and I mean 18-20% above the highest Native American employer in Okla. and 36% above what workers in Oklahoma are paid. The same member of Congress who couldn't get a phone call answered was going around liberally quoting Thoreau with some quip like a government is only effective if the people don't want anything from it as if it should do only for those who work for it or add some benefit to it somehow rather than the government working for the Osage people whose needs it was created to serve in the first place. This is what you are up against up on the Hill and I don't really think Geoffrey has the cojones to clean it up. He has always left me with the impression that down deep he's afraid of these people who work for the Nation and those Osages related to them in the larger community in the Villages. The next thing we'll hear is that everything is so wrong that there's no hope of getting it back on track or the job is too overwhelming and too many Osages will be harmed if they try to get things working properly and more unconscionable totally crap excuses just like it. Mess mess mess mess mess!!!!!!!!!!!!

    25. I don't think he has the guts to do what's needed either which is to shut the whole thing down and do an across-the-board in-depth assessment of each Executive Branch office and what needs to be done to correct the problems found. They throw money at those Executive Branch budgets too that are so high if we knew the real numbers spent, we would all be calling the Congress to do an investigation of themselves and their spending practices. Guess how well that would go. Who investigates them? The Attorney General's Office? If he can't find misappropriation misconduct of some kind, he wouldn't be looking closely enough.

  40. Seems to me, these are highly qualified people. It was their right to donate to the person they supported and doesn't make them less qualified. Why don't we wait and see how they do their jobs before starting a lynch mob.

  43. The Inauguration for the MC 3 will be on Tuesday July 1st. It will be proceeded by a Catholic Mass. Quite a serious and formal event. Several of us will be there that were not at the last Inauguration and will be very interested to hear the language of the swearing in ceremony. We will be curious if it includes language something along the line of upholding the rules, regulations and resolutions as set forth by the MC. Don't see how one MC member can raise their hand and take such a oath when they are already ignoring and not following some of the resolutions already in place !

    1. Thank you for keeping us in the know, much appreciated, though I am curious of which resolutions you are talking about? Can you please let us know so it is documented. And this should be a big event...after all, in my opinion, The 1906 act is alive and well and the oath they will take understand they will be held accountable. So this is serious and giving thanks is a humble event. Wish I could be there anyother time I would be, big event's happening fhis year that cover huge costs like weddings.

    2. Let's start off with the recently resolutions that were passed to insure a non-hostile work place.

    3. Oh please!!!!!!!!! The Principal here is the second highest majority elected Member of the Mineral Council, not those incompetent eyeCandies that gang up and manipulate those MC men in the office to feel sorry for them and let them get away with wholesale murder. Shutting the office down early because it's been a hard week for the office girls!!!!!!!! Give us a break. You are supporting this complete lack of professionalism in that office by those office girls and this is to the detriment of all of the shareholders. Get rid of them. Get women in there who don't do drugs and don't tell lies. Things will begin to run smoothly as soon as you do.

    5. In reply to the post 6-29 5:35. Have you been living under a rock and refuse to acknowledge the turmoil that one MC member has brought to the MC office with total disregard for the resolutions voted on and passed by the MC ? You are in total denial.

    6. That person is and probably from the same family that supports that persons abuse of power without clearance....we understand what has transpired and it only takes one to spoil the rest of the apples, sorta speak....these resolutions are made to support and facilitate a good work environment to protect everyone involved. End...it is obvious that this person does not understand good work ethics.

    7. Oh Please !!! Just because a person gets a lot of votes in an election, does not give them license to run amok and violate MC resolutions. We will all be watching to see how they act after the MC3 opens up. Maybe they will rip their britches, violate enough rules and resolutions and get removed from office like JRE did.

    8. P.S. The person in question has left a long trail of lies and half truths. So, if we are going to get rid of people that lie...there would be a good place to start.

  45. I understand this is only a rumor so far...but can anyone tell us what qualifications Libby Gray has to reform policies and procedures of the HR dept ? I was hopping that we had seen the last of the Gray's in any way shape or form.

  46. Such bogus trumped up violations are unenforceable. Those girls don't run that office. The members of the Minerals Council do and if those pansy men in charge had gotten after those lazy gals in there, it would never have come to any of this in the first place. Cause and effect or don't you know what that means? They have to work for a living and for what they're paid to do. Is all this over your head?

  47. The inauguration went well except Stephanie was up front talking while other MC members were being sworn in. Totally inappropriate and disrespectful .... but what would one expect?

  48. My My, here you all go again. I guess now we will start on another MC member, don't you all ever stop complaining about stuff? Aren't you ever happy about anything in your lives. It's a new MC, and let's see how things are going to go before we start picking on others.

    1. Just pointing out dis-respectable behavior. When another MC member is getting sworn in by the judge, they should be shown the courtesy and respect of not talking to others in the back ground. It's called common sense and being polite. Even people in the audience were respectable of the occasion. It's basically called good manners. :)

  50. I understand that minutes are not being taken by hand for the Minerals Council meetings....what if someone pushes a wrong buttin or if someone wants to delete a part of the tape...The proper way to handle the minutes is to take them by a responsible person and preserve them..We are dealing with a Multi Million Dollar business and we must deal with it in a Multi Million Dollar way...Let the MC members know that we expect them to deal with OUR MultiMillion Dollar business in a Multi Million Dollar way!!!!
