New Topic: Osage Casino Build Out

Is it fair that the Chief has a consulting company working for him and that Manhattan Builders (an Osage, LLC., subsidiary) is subcontracting the work rather than building it direct as a company?  What do you think about this situation?

  1. As I commented under the topic Chief Red Eagle and allegations of unethical behavior by the Osage Nation Attorney General>> "Now this is a lot more than the Osage, LLC has ever done to put Osages to work in Osage County or Oklahoma. Some time back I read that their subsidiary, Manhattan Builders, headed up by that Carol Leese that is supposed to be building out the Casino projects, is or was advertising for others to come in and do work for them>> http://osagenews.org/article/osage-manhattan-builders-seeks-bids-osage-casino-skiatook-and-ponca-city-projects-0 So what do they do exactly? Oversee two construction jobs Leese knows nothing about and take a fat cut for it? I thought the Chief had some sort of consulting company too. So how much will they take? It looks like to me that these jobs are going to cost the Osage People a whole lot more than they should>> http://www.sq1pm.com/projects/8 " I'd like to know just how much we are going to end up paying for these two Casinos in total once the final bill comes in for payment by the Osage Casino management. When the Kaw Tribe gets their gaming compact with their site right off of the main highway on I-35 as well as the new casinos in Wichita, in other words, with this much competition, how much actual profit will we see coming from the new casino in Ponca City? My guess is that we will be lucky to break even or worse, have to take much less than we have been in the past in order to be able to pay down the loans taken out to finance this one.

  7. When do the Osage people get paid? Other tribes that have casinos give money to their "shareholders"? I'm just wondering. I'm broke.
