    1. I thought this guy was a cattle roper. Now he's a pipeline expert? How did that happen?

  4. I think he was anointed by the Chief who said he was the best pipeline consultant he knew. Of course, he doen't know any other.

  5. obviously none of you are from around Pawhuska, if you were you would know that the Hartness family and pipelining are closely linked.

  6. Really? I heard his dad was a professional pipliner and he tagged along with him when he was a kid but how does that qualify him as from a pipelining family? Because he pumps gasoline into his truck? You don't have to live in Osage County to know what's going on around there.

  9. The Motion for a Select Committee of Inquiry, brought by Congressman Kugee Supernaw along with the charges read out against Principal Chief John D. Red Eagle on the floor of the Osage Nation Congress, has been seconded by Congressman Daniel Boone. The members will vote tomorrow to see if the Congress approves investigating the allegations. 10. NEW! The official copy of the Motion for a Select Committee of Inquiry that was read out in the Special Session today by Congressman Kugee Supernaw is available for immediate download at http://app6.websitetonight.com/projects/1/2/1/5/1215402/uploads/Motion_for_Select_Committee_of_Inquiry.pdf PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ ALL OF IT. It includes the fifteen (15) allegations against Chief John D. Red Eagle that warrant an investigation on behalf of the Osage people to be initiated by the Osage Congress if the vote is successful tomorrow in the Congressional Special Session beginning at 10:00 A.M. It is our belief and absolute conviction at OPEN that the Osage people deserve, at the very least, that these serious allegations be subject to an investigation and that the Select Committee of Inquiry be formed for that purpose. Please take the time to listen to the first day of the 6th Special Session that is now up and listed as SS10-day at http://www.osagetribe.com/main_view_video.aspx

  13. RED ALERT--IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: In view of the plethora of inexplicable choices that the elected officials of the Osage Nation have made during their tenure for the last seven years, the most recent of which was reported by Congressman Raymond Redcorn in his Update #170: "For employees, the full $1.4 ($1.5) million salary adjustment increase also made the cut, along with the full 3% Merit funding attached to salaries.", the Osage Blog is announcing its NEW Election Initiative that we are calling the Osage Surge for Candidates to come forward from outside of Osage County and the State of Oklahoma to run in the upcoming Osage Nation elections; "The Osage Surge" for short. We need boots on the ground, Osage members, to turn around the policies and spending practices of the Osage Nation government to one that is sensible and reasonable that includes ALL Osages no matter were they reside which was promised to us if we were to support a new Osage Constitutional government. We need to reestablish a proper balance from the top down and the bottom up! Please join this initiative and if you can, run for office in the upcoming Osage Nation elections in 2014. Since they won't, each one of us need to stand up and take responsibility and BE RESPONSIBLE for what our new government does in the future. Now IS the time for all good Osages to come to the aid of their new Constitutional government.
